I bought it a while back but never really used it. My main reason was to have it when I travel, but the brakes have been put on any serious traveling for a while. Heck, I'm always in the car (have a car charger) or somewhere I can plug in my wall charger, so I've never had to use it. I decided to throw it up on e-Bay this weekend and then remembered Cappy mentioning the other day that he uses one in his deer stand ... so I figured one'a youse dufes might need it. I plan on putting it up for auction at a starting price of $35.00 ... so if any o'youse bozos want it, I'll give it to you for that price. Note: It's just the battery pack and wall-charger power cord ... no cables, but it has the two USB ports to plug your device in with whatever cables you use. If you need anything weird, it's all available on the Newtrent website.

This video is kinda long ... but it's a neat little gizmo if you need one.

Ah, okay I think I know. its an extended life battree. I might be in the market, but my wife bought me an ipad cover, since my original was falling apart, and it has a built in battery in the cover that is good for two charges on the ipad. I'm going on three years now I think for my old ipad II (got it for Christmas the December I went to the PI) and the thing I expected to be the first to go on it has been solid as a rock. I just exercize good lithium battery care and that's making sure to discharge it almost all the way down every time before I fully charge it and its done great. I probably get two days of hard usage out of it before I recharge and now with this new cover gadget I just plug it in to the cover and can recharge it without connecting it to a 110 power source. I've been hunting that I want to buy a new ipad but honestly this one works just fine and dandy. I'd rather have that new apple computer coming out next year.

You bozo ... I posted a frigging 8 min. video 'splainin' everything about it! ;)

BUT ... I guess you figured it out all by yourownfineself.

Neat gizmo if'n ya' have a need for it. I see Bucky doesn't want one ... I'm sure he'll have solar panels on his new tower stand to run the satellite tv system ... so he can charge his phone with that if'n he needs to.

Verizon has me tied up short lately Thumper. I ain't got time for an eight minute video. I'm like that whore in Lonesome Dove. "If you can't squirt your squirt in two minutes you don't need a whore, you need a doctor"

Samsung Galaxy SII soon to be a Samsung Galaxy Note III, and a Samsung Galaxy Note II.

All use the "universal (except for Apple)" mini USB plug.

Bucky. You don't have a cord for your phone in case you ever need to hook it up to a laptop or desktop?
Like for pic uploading, or even charging?

Buckrub

Of course. It has a USB on one end and a mini-usb on the other.

Doesn't appear to me that it will. It has the proprietary Apple connectors. Read that article I posted.

Apple Jacks is a cereal dufus. ;)

Bidding starts at $35.

Buckrub

Not mine. Mine started at $5.00. I don't do 'reserve' auctions. :)

Apple Jacks are those things that you plug your iPhoneys and Apple Stuff into, that no one else uses.

Bucky, he's not doing a "reserve" auction, just a minimum bid auction.

Thumper

Yeppers ... I never mentioned no dang reserve.

Actually, I never even mentioned an auction at all ... the $35 is my BIN price for any o'youse dufi here.

Buckrub

Mr Kribbs, sir, what's the final tally likely to be to send it Ashburn, VA way, and how would you accept payment? :)

Thumper

Dang Eggy, sorry I missed your reply. The good Captain called my attention to it. I listed it on e-Bay last night (as a 7-day auction) but I just cancelled it. If you still want it, how's an even $35 sound? (I'll handle the shipping).

As I said, I only have the battery pack and charger ... any extras would have to come from Newtrent. Any form of payment is fine with me ... gold bullion, check, PayPal ... doesn't matter. If'n ya' wants it, let me know.
