Can't remember a college coach being fired at the first of the season in a long time, but it couldn't have happened to a bigger jerk.
USC put Lane Kiffen's azz in the road only 6 hours later, after being drummed 62-41 by Arizona State.
Best assessment that I've heard about Kiffen was by some broadcaster who compared him to Miley Cyrus...."completely lacking in talent, but can't take your eyes off him."

And get this, USC has named Ed Orgeron, who was fired from Ole Miss, as new interim coach....We called him ole Grunter Ed....he grunts, when he talks. ;)

Got that right, Chik Dinna....he'd never even have gotten this far, if not for his daddy's reputation.
I hope the next time we hear about him, he's coaching at Possum Dick High School. ;)
