The Quincy, Ill. Little League Cardinals were magically transposed into the bodies of the vaunted St. Louis Cardinals.
The Cardinals kicked the ball all over Chavez Ravine, threw to the wrong base, couldn't communicate on fly balls, and couldn't hit their hat size.
Possibly Mr. Mozeliak was in attendance. He has some work to do.
However, unlike football where the cry is "wait till next week" or in some cases "Wait till next year", the cry in baseball is "Wait till tomorrow". So before the sun sets again on the morally and fiscally bankrupt Left Coast, we'll be back at it again.
