Steven Drew would be a major upgrade at short. I'm not at all sure why the Sox would make him an offer they know h won't accept given the light hitting rookie they have behind him. I'd be really looking at that ankle injury of his. This might be a pig in a poke.

I hate to see Beltran leave. I really think he's a classy player, but I guess that's the way it goes. We need to upgrade at center, and we need to nail down right field so Taveras and Craig seem to be the answers there.

Kolten Wong is a bust. The Cards just haven't figured it out yet. He's be the prospect I'd trade along with Freese (as much as I hate to see Freese go).

Another player the Sox only made a qualifying offer that he'll never accept. I'm not sure the Cards need to go outside the org to get an outfielder who hits 300 but hasn't played a complete season in three years when they have a 36 year old one that hits 300 and is injury prone already on the roster. some team will give him $100 million, just wait and see. and it won't be worth it.

They didn't even offer Salty. I guess those throws to third base kind of exposed his defensive weakness (as if the Ranger WS didn't expose that). And Napoli ain't shit. Appears that four of the core players the Sox won the series with won't be there next year.
