Cheryl brought home a bag of hog dust the other day. I've never heard of it. But it's just chips that you put on a plate and pop into the microwave for a couple of minutes. What comes out is the bestious pork skins you ever ate! I mean off the hook good.
Try to find these and order a bag. They are worth anything it takes to get them to your house!
You can thank me later.

No lie Barry. She bought the BBQ one and they are so good. May have something to do with not being fried, but they are so crispy and light. And that bag will make a wheelbarrow full. You won't regret ordering them.

Cap, I picked up a couple of bags of a similar product at Dollar General a few weeks ago, just outta curiosity.

I think it was a Lowery's Seasonings product....popped 'em in the microwave, and they were fantastic!!!

I couldn't believe big ole fat pork skins could actually come from a microwave.

Prolly not as good as your's, but I googled around, and found a pic of them:

I was thinking 16 bucks for a 16 oz bag was pretty pricey! I may order some of their seasoning too.

Well dang! I went to their website and they're all over South Carolina ... but pretty spotty in Florida. There are a couple places in Tampa and a couple more in Orlando, but they showed ONE place here in town with them. It was some street I'd never heard of (lived here 24 years) and my GPS showed it as a little "side street" off of another little side street. The place is called Baskets Instead ... I guess it's one of those "baskets of stuff in lieu of flowers" kinda places. Anyway, I met Lynn for lunch and afterwards, headed out to find this place. Bummer .... there's a gym there now! I guess the place didn't make it. :(

I could always order on-line I suppose ... but we go to Tampa or Orlando quite often, so I'll wait. BTW ... Whole Foods carries it in Tampa.

Which website did you go to Kribbs?
http://willieshogdust.com

Or some other.
The others posted here might be just as good IDK? These are the only ones I've ever seen.
But I'm open to trying others. :D

Did she get them at the grocery store?
If so, which department?

Cap, your Willie's skins are prolly better than those I posted.
It's just that I've never seen ANY skins cooked in the microvave, and thought it was a novel idea, when I ran across them in the store.

Willie's definitely look better and prolly taste better, too.
Gonna try me some Willie Hog Dust. ;)

I wouldn't touch that with a teepee pole tied to a wagon tongue

Sounds like left-overs from a circumcision party!

Yeah Cappy, I went to Willie's website and checked out "their" locations page.

Pays good too. Forty skins a week and a chance to get a head.
