64 and sunny now. 70 tomorrow.

Then rain and wind. Then ice and extreme wind. Then snow. Then a 12 hour respite and 15 degrees. Then more ice.

Mexican weather outside, Canadian weather coming. Global warming my left nut!

If we get snow I'm crazy happy. If ice, our remote cabin will lose power for days, no electric blankets, no heat except for fireplace (great during day, but no heat in back bedrooms), and the road outta here will become unpassable. Have LP gas to cook on and water heater, but tank down below 50% and no deliveries for 2 weeks this far out.

Yes I saw pics of Fargo today, and I'd take that in a heart beat over what they're predicting for us.

Every Yankee that ever visited here in our frigid ice storms cried to go home.

The upside is that my kill rate is up. In the last half hour, I've killed 6.....Oops 7.....8 pt drop - tined buck red wasps and 3 does.

Mexicans left.

Canadians abound.

Deer should be moving ahead of that front.

Spent six hours blood tracking an Elk a guy here shot. Blood trail petered out at 3:00. Thickets a rabbit couldn't get through. I'm whipped.

Rain just hit, 36 degrees. Tomorrow will be a real trip.
