I get a message that tells me I have to wait 30 seconds to post even though its the first time I've posted something. Whats up wid dat? It still lets me post.

I got the same thing once or twice. I also get a page of everything written over itself when posting at times ... once I refresh, it straightens itself out.

Still a few bugs I guess ... but everything works.

Hmmm, I just got that 30 second screen again after responding to two threads in a row.

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 30 seconds.

I hit "save" again and got this.

This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 19 seconds.

After waiting 20 seconds, I could post again. Is that some sort of safeguard?

EDIT: Well dang, I tried to post the response above and got the same deal.

The following errors occurred with your submission
This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 29 seconds.

Its posting it, just giving you that bogus message. I'm sure it'll get worked out as they work on more of these little bugs.

Should we fire Foo & Co9, or simply cut their pay by 50%? ;)

I think they were shooting for doubling it with these double posts. Do they charge by the post?

If they don't fix this soon, I'm going to have a thing or two to say about this.

I thought we were getting paid by the post..?
Seriously, though-- list your OS, browser and browser version to see if we can spot a pattern. I haven't ever seen the 30 second warning, and had no problem logging in. I use Chrome on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.

Maybe we can set up a sticky post to collect all these issues.

Firefox on Mac OS X Mountain Lion.

Mostly I use iPhone with Forum Runner. I've seen no errors with Forum Runner except for one yesterday morning. Have not had any problems since.

You said you don't have Mountain Lions.

I use the full site on my ipad (Safari) and Forum Runner when I want to post pictures from my ipad. I use Firefox on my work computer and Safari on our MacBook Pro.
I'm pretty sure we saw the 30 second thing when we first installed the site and it was a setting to prevent post flooding somewhere in the admin panel.

If you had a good computer you would have Mountain Lion too.

I do have mountain lions. And a great computer. And a great phone, with Jelly Bean. And a toothache. I do NOT have a Superiority Complex, nor chauvinistic tendencies towards my possessions. I'm a Liberal when it comes to possessions. And BBQ.

The new Good Hunting bumper sticker:

If not Foo'd ... we'd be screwed!

Ok, I'll admit ... maybe it needs a little help. BUT ... I sure appreciate his effort. He and Co9 have worked their butts off for us.
