There's not muchto disagree with here, just not any inkling ofa path to get there. Name one presidential candidate who'd champion it in House and Senate. Not with the bozos we have in office. And there's no solution offered for how we get to an affordable, workable cost for services not covered inthis scheme's view of insurance. If you reduce cost that much you drive doctors away from it andthat's the exact weakness it says medicare/medicaid has.

There's no doubt there's many vastly better answers than ACA. Its just that nobody has the balls to propose them.

I think there's lots of costs that competition would reduce, without drastically impacting doctors' pay. But there is no panacea, no. But what we have been subjected to is not the answer. It has no hope of continuance long term. That's just a reality.

And we are STILL confusing "Health Care Costs" with "Health Insurance Costs"...........NOT the same thing.
