I spotted an estate sale north of me. I know the area well as I had three contract jobs up that way for about 15 years and was up there every month. BUT ... it's a 1 1/2 hour drive EACH way! There are a few odds & ends I may be interested in, but nothing really earth shattering ... UNTIL I spotted a kid's (Big Bird) alarm clock!

Now, the question is ... do these people know what they have there? I don't know the people putting on the sale as it's out of my normal area ... but that clock intrigues me. The kicker is, the sale is during the week (Wed-Thur), which is odd. Maybe people will have to work and there will be a low turn-out (doubtful since that's a popular retiree area). Crap, I kind'a wish I hadn't spotted this thing. It's gonna be eating at me now. I'd hate to drive all that way to find out they are aware of it's value and have it priced out of my comfort zone. Yet it's gonna eat at me if I don't go and always wonder if they had a $5.00 price tag on it. GRRRRR!
BTW ... these silly things bring anywhere from $80 - $180 on The Bay.
