Cool Looking Brow Tines

Rumor has it that some folks on this site hunt and/or fish now and then, but it's just a rumor. Anyway, I have a little side business cleaning skulls with my dermestid beetles. Every once in a while I get something in that I think is pretty cool. Such is the case with this little whitetail buck. I don't think I would have considered shooting this buck if I would have only seen him from the side, but if I got a look at these brow tines from the front, I think I would of just had to have it. They are very unique. This buck was killed by a young hunter and I'd say they are off to a great start.

The more I see them, the more I like European mounts. Especially for a rack like that one. Nice.

Cool rack and an excellent job on the skull cleaning. Looks like those beetles are easier on the nasal membranes then I am sometimes.

Great job Sky. I'd have dropped that boy in a second. Almost as good as a drop tine buck... and I've been hoping for one all my life.
