Well, THAT was a surprise!

I picked up a little car emblem/badge thingy at an estate sale last week for $1.50. I looked around the net to try to figure out what it was worth, but never found one just like it. Now that can mean two things ... one, it could be rare ... or two, it's something of no or very little interest/value. This is the type item I simply put up for auction and see what happens. Well, this thing surprised me ... it sold tonight for $52.00! It looks like it would have gone even higher, but the next competitor dropped out of the bidding at $51.00. Heck, I remember as a kid, things like this were on the back of most every car in the neighborhood ... usually on the trunk or bolted on with the license plate. Cool! I may have to keep my eye out for more of these things.

Any'o youse dufes have one layin' out in the barn or tacked onto the garage wall?
