I have not got a refund in upteen years, and even though I made quarterly payment I always fell short when tax time rolled around. But I guess all the stars aligned and my fixed income was small enough that he felt sorry for me this year, I think it's just enough for the wife and I to go out to dinner one night.:clap

This year is way worse than last. Sugar's methods are devious. It has cost me about 25% of my IRA, and over 1/3 of my take home pay, but this won't happen again. In the meantime............I got nothin' left but my good looks.

Those big inheritance will kill ya, we had a small one last year from Kay's mother that caused us to have to write a check.
But, that's only a one time deal if you invest it right.
As my tax man said, "if you have to pay it only means you had a very good year".
