Safari Browser??????

Can the Safari browser be ran on a Windows machine, or is it stricly an Apple compatible browser????

I have a buddy who is a huge Mac fan and his company issued him a Windows machine. He uses Safari on it. That's about all I know, but I think the Apple website probably has downloads for Mac or Windows OS's.
