That is cool .. but what took us so long? Saudi Arabia alone will make that plant look like an amateur production. I just hope all major coastal cities start building this type technology. Heck, maybe Texas could build one and sell the water to Oklahoma for the fracking industry to help them produce more earthquakes. ;)

It made me think of something else I've seen that has to do with fish dropping into a lake. Several years ago on Dogtooth there were some major forest fires all around us. The firefighting planes were lining up on a big long basin on Dogtooth and dropping down and scooping up water to go drop on the fire. We were wondering how many big walleyes were getting scooped up at the same time. And then of course, we got to conjecturing on what would happen if they scooped up a scuba diver somewhere and how surprising that one would be. Those conversations go about like the ones here do.
