Wow! Glad you got it figured out Sunny ... but as much time as your dogs spend at the vet, I'm really surprised it wasn't discovered sooner. Sheeeesh, thyroid problems are VERY common in dogs AND cats (usually older dogs ... over 5 yrs or so). What your dog has sounds like HYPOthyroidism. Again, I'm glad he's doing well.

Ummm, but ONE question ... your dogs have a frigging CHIROPRACTOR??? WTF? (are you sure you're not from L.A.?) ;)

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! He knocked his head off-center??? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Sorry, I can't help myself. Doggy chiropractors must love it when they see a blond walk in the door! :poke

Day'um!!!!........my wifey needs a thyroid checkup....no energy, hacking and gagging, bad eyesight, hair getting brittle, slowing down, fur falling off tail....think I'll run her by the chiropractor's clinic to get her haid re-centered, too. ;)

Nah, she wouldn't believe anything she reads here, anyway......I've already explained to her that ya'll are a bunch of misfits, and post stuff here, using my name, all the time.....I'll just tell her Thump did it. ;)

My lab has thyroid issues. Noticed that he was getting a bald spot on his side. Vet looked at him and knew right away what the problem was. He's been on pills for the low thyroid since he was about two years old.

As well as Sunny takes care of those mutts ... I'd think she should be looking for another vet. Two years is an awful long time to go unnoticed by a professional. JMHO.

Ha! Yeah, we have the same going on here now. We still have that little kitten we rescued a week or so ago a,d he keeps trying to play with these old-fart cats here at the house. They want no part of it ... so he usually makes his own fun with whatever he can dig up. Little balls and toys are flying all over the house! (I KNOW that'll draw a smart-assed remark from somebody here) ;)
