Dumb rain

Raining like crazy up here so having to make alternative plans. Last night we went to a movie in a theater that is 101 years old. They claim to be the oldest operating theater that was built as a theater.

On display was this 1917 movie projector. Pretty cool old place but want to get back into the mountains.

Continues to rain but we decided to take Posthole's advice and drove Trail Ridge Road but only to the Alpine Visitor Center.

As you can see it was more then a bit foggy up there so we couldn't see nary a thing so hopefully it clears up before we leave so we can try it again. Have to say that if you don't like heights you had better let someone else drive. Can't believe the missus is willing to try it again.

I sure do hope it clears up so you can see all the lakes and stuff up there. I'm surprised you didn't run into snow up by the visitor center!

Its been raining cats and dogs here all day too. I think this is the same system that got you. Strange for July.
