I remember summers being way too short when I was in school but it seems to get shorter every year. Turning cold before July was over didn't help. Our boys playing ball seems to shorten the entire dang year. The oldest is half way through two-a-days, had a scrimmage yesterday, two more this week then it's Friday night lights for real on the 29th. Nothing like some football to make it feel like fall with winter close behind.
