I've got to where I largely ignore the comments on ANY posts like youtube or news sites. I am in hopes that the people who do comment are really about 20 people that roam around the internet saying stupid shit. Something tells me though that I'm wrong.

I think that's the point I've been trying to make with my "redneck engineering" comments. These dufes think they can lift their pick-ups with pieces of scrap metal, gas welded together with clothes hangar welding rods and they're ready to go out and play "Big Foot".
