Sometimes everything comes together and I'm in the zone. This was one of those nights. The last one could be the best wedding image I've ever produced. If you click on the image it looks much better. Our site kinda butchers jpegs with the thumbnails it produces.

Can you Photoshop some devilish looking horns on the bride's shadow to show the future and what this guy is getting himself into by saying, "I do"? :biggrin

Great job!

But STILL no honeymoon pictures..............a really great cameraman would have a reputation to get himself into position for such shots, I'm thinkin'!!

I keep asking Bucky. I just get weird looks and never seem to get a tip at the end of the night when I ask about honeymoon pics.

It's actually is a "thing" now. Morning after pics, they call 'em. The couple stays in varied stages of jammies and/or nekkidness and you do a shoot with them still in bed and what not.

that's just strange. (the morning after stuff) Do you photograph the wet spot too?

Julie found that shadow picture on Facebook and was oohing and aahing over it last night. She said it was the best wedding picture she'd ever saw and that you are amazing. So I thought I'd pass that along.
Don't let it go to your head!

I sort of stumbled in to it, honestly. The couple was following me in a long ass stretch limo, we were going to go to downtown Leesburg (which is old and small, quaint and what not). It was after 11:00pm. The annual leesburg flower and garden yuppie show was staged for the next morning so they had all the streets blocked off, no access. So I have the limo following me down these streets that were designed in 1750's (literally) looking for a place where he'd be able to turn around. I went down this one street thinking he could get int the church parking lot to turn around. Then I remembered the bright red door on the church and said "Ooo, let's hop out and go over there, then we walked over to where the door was and it was pitch dark, couldn't see shit. I had to manually fire a flash at the door to show them it was really as red as I said. I posed them against the door at first but my camera couldn't even see them, much less focus on them. So I put my iphone light on hoping to get enough light on her dress that my camera could try to focus, then set my remote flashes pointing at them. Once I snapped the first frame and saw the harsh shadow is when I got the idea. OOOO!!!! OK, let's pose you guys like this. I placed them, tweaked their positions a couple times and boom, finally nailed it.

Sorry, long story :)

Once again iPhone saves the day. ;)

Seriously that is a cool shot and takes a special talent to spot something like that. Congrats to ya' man. I bet that couple will enlarge and frame that picture. At least until the divorce.

What does the bride think about the horns coming out of her head, from the shadow.
Nice pic!
