Just got in from a community meeting a little while ago...before it began, there were two old local geezers to the side of the building, arguing loudly, and looked as if they were getting ready to throw some punches.
One is a retired police chief, on a walker, and the other is a retired business owner, on a cane....actually, I knew them to be good friends.
I walked over to see what the fuss was about, thinking I might have to pull them apart, before they hurt each other.
I asked the retired police chief what the argument was about, and he said, and I quote, "We were out here talking and having a smoke, and this s.o.b just fessed up that he voted for Obama, and wished he could run again for president. So, I told him that I already knew he was crazy, but he's an ignorant old fool, too, and needed his ass whipped, and I can damn well do it, too."
Fortunately, the other guy just turned, and hobbled off, on his walking cane....I laughed, and told the chief, "Nice going, my friend."
