And for the Nats, Zimmermann pitches a no hitter for win #96. Bring it.

I think you guys will get the winner of the Pirates-Giants, right Hank?

The Cards likely will get the Dodgers. Puig and A-gon or whatever the hell they call that fool.

Bucky, 1st no no in club history. Nats get the wild card winner by virtue of the best record in the NL. Since August 1st they've played like their pants are on fire and gone from something like 10 games over .500 to 30 over.

I was feeling good about the Cards' September record the other day, in fact the whole second half of the year has been pretty good. then I read some article where they showed several years worth of statistics showing that there was literally no such thing as momentum in the baseball playoffs. I'd beg to differ but that's what the smart people say. the whole Red Sox season last year was nothing but momentum. they got on a roll and it never stopped. Same for the Giants a few years ago.

I hope whoever plays the dodgers breaks out the broom, and Puig can go o-fer from this point on and not hurt my feelings

Baseball is a funny game and anything can happen once the tournament starts. I do know that this team is a lot more experienced than the '12 team that didn't handle the pressure. This team is a whole lot more talented as well. I know I've said this before, but watch this kid Rendon. He's making fans around here forget about Harper.

Where's Harper?

Left field mostly. He missed a big chunk of the season with a torn thumb ligament and really hasn't been the same from a power perspective since. So, he's there. Just hasn't been a difference maker this year .
