To show how detached from things I seem to be....I had NO idea that the SS was no longer part of the Treasury dept.

Well, look at it this way ... a cop took a bullet and a Secret Service agent dove on top of Reagan to protect him and took another bullet. Who the hell wants to take a bullet for that clown we have in the White House now? Heck, I'd be holding up a sign with an arrow saying, "HE"S IN THERE". :D
