I think you need my professional services to help guard that little hut you got built there.
A couple of them boys are big enough to "rub" the support legs into and cause it to fall. :-)
Very nice and I hope you get em' all!

Couldn't you find a more productive place to put that stand? :D

I'm closer than Cappy. WAY closer. And nicer. And NEVER said nuthin' bad about ya.

and the first picture looks like a painting.

I have my first 'real' game camera out. Leupold RCX-1. I've tried several, they took no pictures. I'm hopeful this time. Surely there's something in this line that even I can't screw up.

But I ain't gonna get pics of THOSE kinda deer, I assure you. Maybe two skunks and a Mt. Lion.

I will be out this Saturday, our bow season opened yesterday. You Know I have let a lot of decent medium size deer walk the last 2 years and it looks to be paying off finally

I did the same thing, but it's because I never saw 'em.

Looks like there's some work to do. Seems you've built a deer stand but haven't yet raised it of the ground.

Now that right there is funny. I thought the same thing. We don't have one less than 12' and most are higher..........

I also thought "One bush hog pass through there and you MIGHT could shoot one in the spot when he crossed"............

P.S.
I'm no expert, but isn't some of that stuff marijuana?? :rockon

I put together a 14 foot two man style ladder stand for Travvy one august 150 degree day. Sawed limbs with a bow saw, took my life in my own hands climbing the ladder to fasten the top of that thing in a tree, and when all was said and done he wouldn't get in it because it was too tall. ended up taking tree sections of ladder out of it and remounting it about four foot off the ground.

Don't laugh though, he's killed a lot of deer out of that stand sitting damn near on the ground.

There was an old guy in my hunt club that was like that. He's only put in 1-2 sections in a ladder stand as he didn't like heights.

Bucky,

We don't have pine trees like you and Hombre where the first branch is 20 feet in the air. In those woods 15 feet would put right in the middle of the trees. The one in the first pic is on the edge of a bean field so I didn't really see the point it elevating as it will mostly be used for rifle hunting. The second one is actually 10ft to the platform it just doesn't look that way in the pics. The windows are also covered with burlap curtains now.

I am not to ashamed to admit I am not overly fond of heights but that isn't the only reason for not using all the sections of some of the ladder stands I have used. I am a fairly big boy and I don't necessarily trust the safety and quality assurance measures of stands built in China.

Oh also the location where the videos were taken was being cut last Tuesday. I guess the landowner had a disagreement with the person who supposed to be bailing and just found somebody else to do it.
