Computer Help Needed ------>

Do any of you dufians know anything about the Linux operating systems?
I've been thinking about that as a low-cost alternative for "fixing" my elderly PC that is running Windows XP.

Don't they make vacuum cleaners???....no, wait, they make air conditioners....no, wait, now I'm confused. ;)

Niner, I've only dabbled at times, but I'd steer you (in descending order) to:
- Linux Mint
- Lubuntu
- OpenSUSE
- Zorin
- Ubuntu (Classic Style)

Most any Linux variant seems to have an option to try it out first. Get yourself an 8 or 16 GB USB drive and try some of these before you install.
