2, 3, 4, 7, and LSU

That's just our side of our conference.

I'm thinking we'd do better in the NFL. At least we'd get to draft high.

I watched a late night segment of ESPN, with four commentators....each gave their own opinion of the top 5 ranking, and the Heisman front-runner....one of them had it like this:

1> MS State - Dak Prescott
2> FL State
3> Auburn
4> Baylor
5> TCU

This scares the sheeit outta me!!!....first, Prescott is a junior, and even though his family is "salt of the earth" folks, they are gonna tell the NFL to "show us the money" at the end of the season....next, if State finishes strong, Mullen is gonna be on the top of everyone's hiring list....I don't want either to happen, but money talks, and bullsheeit walks.

I just hope my Dawgs can handle all this hype because that's all it is....however, I'd just about give up my left cajole to beat Auburn, this weekend. ;)

Actually looking purely at today's poll numbers, we have (or had) on our schedule this year #2, 3(2), 7, 13, 14, and 23. I do believe Arkansas has one of, if not the, toughest schedule in college football. That's almost always the case being in the SEC west, but with the Mississippis actually being good this year, we're screwed. Those are usually the games we have a chance at winning in the SEC.

Call me bitter, but there's a good reason the BCS rankings didn't come out until mid to late October. Now that the sports media, represented by the AP Poll and the rest of the ESPN followers (who happen to be the proud sponsors and broadcast partners of the SEC) have things their way, they produce this bullshit hype about rankings all season long. We have playoff predictions that change kind of like my GPS computes my arrival time on a trip, its updated and updated and updated until they get it right on the last weekend of the season. Man, what a friggin circus sports media has become. Can we get Sarah Palin in here to bitch about the liberal media some?
