Sort of fell into this one, met a guy in FL who was looking to trade this for a 1911, I had a S&W 1911 I didn't use anymore so I made him an offer.
He's happy, I"m happy.
I've always had semi- auto 22 hand guns, but wanted a nice revolver, and better yet, a Colt to go along with the other Colts' I have.
Should be a fun shooter.

Nice gun JB. You will enjoy it I'm sure. Since you are a Colt man help me out. I've got a Colt Woodsman and a Colt Huntsman. That I recently picked up and danged if I can tell the difference in a them? Is one suppose to be more desirable than the other?

Cappy:
Looks like the Woodsman is the prize.
There was the Woodsman, Targetsman and the Huntsman.
Don't forget the Challenger.
The Challenger was from the later 2nd. Series (1950-1955)
Others were the:
Woodsman Sport, Woodsman Target, and Match Target (1947 - 1955)

The Third Series guns (1955-1977) were the:
Woodsman Sport
Woodsman Target
Match Target
Huntsman
Targetsman (1959-1977)

Challenger differances from the other higher priced Woodsman guns were:
Butt / heel mag release instead of thumb button.
Smaller trigger guard
No slide stop
No magazine safety.

Early ones had Coltswood wood-grain plastic grips.
Later ones had brown plastic grips.

I have a Colt Woodsman Match Target (2nd).. Most accurate .22 handgun I have ever had my hands on. Young friend of mine just bought a .22 barrel for his Kimber. I drug mine out for the first time in 10 years. He finally admitted he was "embarrassed".
