It was pretty cool looking. I tried to make a picture with my little iPhone as I was leaving the gym this morning.

Too day'um early for me to watch it....no dew last night, so we cut soybeans to nearly midnight....had to get an extra few minutes of shut-eye, and start all over, today. ;)

It was purdy. ;) We're making a dent in the beans eddie. Knocked out about a thousand acres - about 125 to go.. Good beans - Several fields have averaged over 70. Was in the first corn yesterday. Monitors aren't calibrated but we both saw over 300. Crazy what these yields are anymore. How's things looking down there?

I realize I don't know squat about farming but 70 beans doesn't sound like much of a yield for 1000 acres. pretty sure I beat that with my porch planter :)

Bushels per acre.

43 is average.

30 is what my Father In Law used to pray for in the 1980's.........

Hide, down here, I've heard sbean yields anywhere from 35 to 85....some folks got flooded out earlier in the year, and had to replant really late.

I finished up with the harvest, last night, and started rowing-up with the hippers in the field right behind the combines....should finish with rowing up by tomorrow....then, I'm laid by 'til spring, and going hunting....not planting any wheat with this $4 dollar market.

"70 beans".. good un. Made me smile. ;) Rained out today. Try it tomorrow. Biggest problem is getting four semis in and out of the fields.
