Day'um, Sunny, what'd you expect???....the squirrels are just doing what squirrels are supposed to do....they screw, then sleep, and then eat the tastiest handiest snack they can find....hence, your corn....come to think about it, humans do pretty much the same thing....'cept I like Cheetos. ;)

No the deer don't come up on the front deck and there was small pieces all over the place and cob was under a chair.
If a deer had managed to sneak up on my small front deck, I'd think it would just carry it off and no way would it pick it clean in the deck.
