Well, actually, anytime I SERIOUSLY referred to the plural of octopus (like that happens often!) ... it was "octopuses". I never had a clue "octopodes" was even a word.

So, is the plural of "octomom" ... "octomommies"? :D

Reminds me of an old theorem developed by two friends of mine (Richard Peck, aka Mallard Filmore, and Forrest Shankle) many many years ago that went something like this:
The Pecker-Shank Theorem - All women are bitches. Therefore all men are sons-o-bitches.

It's yet to be disproven.
