Cap, we had a district-wide Masonic meeting, last night, and I was appointed cooking duties to provide a full meal....we have about a 30 minute social-time prior to the meal, and snacks are served....I made about half gallon of Pig Dip, instead of the usual store-bought stuff, and laid out Frito and Tostito Scoop chips to go with the dip.

Man, those guys dug into that Pig Dip like it was Halloween candy....there was only about 1/2 cup left over, and our District Director, asked if he could take it home to his wife, along with the recipe.

I'm pretty sure, we now have the "Official Snack Food" of our Masonic District. ;)

That makes me proud for a couple of reasons!
Glad to hear my brothers down that way have good taste!
We can make Pig-Dip the official dip of GoodHunting. ;)

I'm gonna have to have Lynn make that some day. Give me a bag of chips and a bowl of GOOD dip and I can do some serious damage!

Cap's recipe is so simple, even you could make it yourself, Thump.
Ohhh, never mind, it involves opening a can of Rotel. ;)

I have some blue and gold sausage thawed out that I need to use. Thinking it might go into some pig dip for gameday food this weekend.

From the written text words of Cap's own fingertips:

> Cook a pound sausage, and drain well.
> Put a block of cream cheese and a can of Rotel in a bowl, and nuke for a couple of minutes. Maybe stir once or so to blend.
> Once the cream cheese and Rotel has melted and mixed well, put in the sausage and eat!

Aint that velveeta instead of sour cream, Eddie? Maybe I've been makin' it wrong all this time. I also add some jalapeno slices to mine to give it some heat.

Phole, I checked again, and actually, the recipe is word-for-word from Cap's text to me....however, when Cap said "a block", I guess I automatically knew he was referring to cream cheese....I'll go back and correct it for him.

Velveeta would prolly be good, too, just for a change of taste....and, the extra jalapenos might be good, too, in addition to the spiciness of the Rotel with green chilies.

Hard to beat the simplicity and taste of Cap's original recipe, however.

Yea, what they said. That Pig-Dip I brought up on our fishing trip was cream cheese.
You musta been in the Wilderberry juice the night I told how to make it. :D
