I haven't posted any art for a while, so it's about time for a little show. However, this isn't my work, rather it's the work of my own children.

First up here's a crazy painting/drawing from my oldest daughter who is a junior in high school. If you look close there are all kinds of symbols and designs hidden in the rhino.

Next up my youngest daughter who is in the 8th grade is a horse fanatic. She rides several times a week and is more than a little obsessed with horses. I'm surprised she chose to draw a thorough bred race horse, but I guess any horse is a good horse in her eyes.

So yesterday I asked my youngest son (age 11 in the 6th grade) if he would draw some Halloween pictures on my white board. He had no pre-planning time. He just jumps right up and whips these out in 45 minutes. He did all of this out of head without a reference. To be honest, I don't think I could draw this well with no forethought and nothing to look at.

After he finished the headless horseman he asked if he could use more of the board. I told him to use all he wanted. So in addition he drew this. Remember he's only 11 years old and created this and the headless horseman all in one 45 minute class period. These were all drawn very near to life-sized as well. Freaking amazing!

I can tell, just by his flowing signature, that he's a smart and talented young'un.

Big Muddy, he is pulling straight A's. That's a heckuva lot better than I was doing academically my first year of junior high.

Me, too, Sky....I was not a stellar student, either....I joke about it, now, how I made 36 on my ACT test....I say, "Yep, I made 18 both times, I took it." ;)

Did your daughter collaborate with Jason Pollock?

See what I did there?
