Arkansas youth hunt this weekend....weekend before MG opens next Saturday.

Here's two pics a guy took with his 12 y/o on the stand........one of our prime spots, with food plot, and a corn feeder. Bear finally just laid down in the middle of the lane! Earlier, they'd torn this feeder to shreds.......and probably will again.

Coyotes..........mountain lions..........and now bears, where NONE used to be! Dang carnivores are tearing us up.

I blame it on the Democrats.

But he didn't have the type friends in the Game Po-Po that you do! No bear season in this area.

Carnivores and hogs have taken over our lease!

Arkansas's been importing bears for years. I think they get 'em from up where Bubba is from.

Visit any landfill and they're everywhere. they've roamed over to Oklahoma down where I came from and there's even a season now.

We have a bear season. Just not in South Arkansas in our zone.

I'm guessing that changes in a year or so!

They have a tendency to hang around and get into people's trash and that's when the complainin' starts and the shootin' begins generally.

and then you have those folks that think they're pets and start feeding them and before long somebody gets mauled and THEN the shootin' begins. Kind of like the gators in florida.
