You the one that brought up numbers. I hunt them 3 or 4 times a year. You are also the one that acts like everything I do or have is substandard. Like these substandard ducks I'm fixing to shoot. That the only duck is what you consider a duck. I'm sure as hell no one in Arkieland shoots anything but greenheads. They let all other ducks wiz buy... Right My point is I hunt and fish and you sit at home and tell me what I'm doing is not done right or substandard. I'm here to hunt and enjoy a great couple of days with friends at an oyster roast tonight. We are fishing today. If that don't meet your holier than thou standard keep it to yourself.

Hahaha...kill a bull sprig for me Larke. I've hunted ducks a long time and killed pintails but never have had the good fortune to kill an honest to God bull sprig. Ain't that crazy? We don't get a lot of them on our flyway but we see enough bunches of them that it shoulda happened if by nothing else than pure accident.

Do you get those Hollywood ducks, spoonbills?

Our stock in trade are gadwalls and mallards, with some good amount of widgeon, native woodies, lots of jacks, some red headed ducks and lately more and more mergansers. When I see them in Canada they're rusty colored and when they come to Oklahoma they're black. Pintails are a bonus here. We have very restrictive limits and then they get to where they're going in Mexico and they shoot them to doll rags.
And yet we can't kill cormornats because its their friggin national bird. Who has a water turkey for their friggin bird?
