Stewart-Haas had pretty much a team of all stars working to get Harvick that champiionship. And getting Rodney Childers from MWR was a major coup. and Hendrick motors. Geeze. It'll be interesting to see if they can hold that team together.

One thing you have to say about Harvick and Stewart. What you see is what you get. I kinda like that. Congrats Happy!

I heard NASCAR is going to lower max horsepower next year. WTF? Next thing ya' know, they'll be running with the Busch cars .... oops ... I mean the Nationwide cars. I'm showing my age I guess, they're all still Winston Cup and Busch cars to me. Heck I'm so frigging old, I remember when they were Grand National cars! :(

Ed Yost or Ned Yost? I thought old Ned (from the Royals) had done some racing at some point in his life.

Man, the sports media treated Ned Yost pretty shabbily. I saw one article that flat out said the Royals made it to the WS in SPITE of Ned Yost instead of because of him. I don't think he's the best tactical guy in the world, but hell he made it to the big show and he made it with a team nobody expected it from so he must be made of some pretty good stuff.

Anyway, this morning's rant against sports media, which absolutely sucks.
