I SUCK at gift giving. The little woman is REALLY good at it. She's thoughtful and always comes up with really good gifts that are almost always very thoughtful and right on the money.

Help me hook her up this Christmas! Here's some clues:

She's about 75% of the way thru her Doctorate. Dissertation work is brutal
Classwork every single night
Loves a perfectly cooked ribeye (luck she has me!)
She works a full time job
She is up well past midnight most nights
Always puts the kids first, studying with them and helping them
Travel softball mom - spends days and weekends on softball fields in varying weather conditions
LOVES shoes and boots. Insanely. Very picky about exactly what she wants
Voracious online researcher and bargain hunter
Huge runner, been a runner her whole life
Very highly organized

What you boys got for me? Help me! :)

I seriously hate people like her. My brother-in-law and his wife are like that. Other than the gift of time, which is impossible, I've got nothing.

Gift certificate to high dollar shoe store. Put it in a shoe box and wrap it up.

Never give a woman cash or even a gift certificate. Even I know that.

Well......she seems like a perfect candidate for some recurring visits to a day-spa type place where she can get sugared and greased up and massaged and all of that stuff. You know, the stuff Trav likes to go do.

Anyway, when CD mentioned time, it sounded like that'd make sense.

How about a bed and breakfast weekend. If so, I've got some recommendations.

Hell's Bells LJ....It's as plain as the nose on your face.
The little lady is just CRAVING a brand new Nikon D3X with ALL of the bells and whistles installed.
HOW could you NOT see this.

You are welcome.

And a new Shimano fishing reel.

More than likely.

You can't go wrong with a bread maker, vacuum, or new dish washer

Geez.

I had a great idea given your description, and got dissed by apparently celibate idiots..

My son and "Tater Tot" are good friends. They went to high school together. Ron's ex-wife is our neighbor.

Here's one I have NEVER figured out.

How can Cappy not be one of Thump's "Long Lost Buds"??? I mean..........statistically speaking, from either side or both, it seems absolutely inevitable.

Don't it??? :)
