Thump, I been in the woods most of the day.....just got home in time for supper, and checked my mail, which arrives out here about 11am....the eagle has landed....and, she is in better condition than I expected.

I can guarantee you that you did NOT have the Dec 21 info on Dec 21! You're proving my point every time you post this stuff. It's always available.......after the delivery!

Ha! Well, actually it did. It posts as soon as I print the shipping label. Normally, it even shows when my carrier picks it up at my mailbox (I hear the Jeep and shortly after, it shows the time it was picked up). This one does not because I was going to be driving by the Post Office anyway, so I dropped it in the drop box there. Mind you, this was just regular 1st Class Mail (no Priority Mail, etc) and shipped at the peak of the Christmas rush, so I really have no complaints.

Not sure what problem you have there ... maybe Pony Express is a bit slower posting their tracking info. ;)

P.S. That said, I'll admit ... I have had some packages shipped where the info was slow being posted. I asked the PO about that once and was told they are sometimes rushed through and don't get scanned, then the system catches up later on down the line. I ship 30-40 packages on an average month via USPS and have had VERY few problems. With the volume I do ... I pretty much expect a blip from time to time. BUT ... I know we've already been through all of that. Let's just say they're not perfect (who is?), but I have no "major" complaints. I own no USPS stock (I know, just making a point), so have no reason at all to defend them. I think they do a pretty darn good job considering ...

Ohh, contraire, Buckney....I sent one of my binocs back to the factory for repair, last week, thru the post office....dropped them off at 2 pm, and when I got home 20 minutes later, I checked on it, and the tracking info. had already been logged in....even without any special delivery, they were received at the factory, 700 miles away, in less than 36 hours....can't complain about that, considering it's the holiday season.
