Ha! I'm an alumnus ... and ain't never attended a Vols game. I DID get drunk and laid during our homecoming game though ... does that count? ;)

Huh? That's news to me ... AND the dictionary evidently. (And, although it's the same thing, if you want to get all picky and stuff, the actual word I used was, "alumnus".)

Would you be happier if I'd just said UT is my alma mater? Or do you think that term can only can only be used by graduates?

On a final note, if we're going to get into semantics here, there's no such word (that I'm aware of) as Matriculater ... the correct term is: Matriculant.

See? I'm all edumacated and stuff! Maybe a year of college, four years in the military and a ton of "street-smarts" is better than a degree! :D
