Uh, thanks. Maybe we'll end up sending Jordan Zimmermann back your way after this year. The thought around here is that he wants to play in the Midwest and this was a bird in the hand kind off move.

I wish the Tigers would have kept him and gotten rid of Verlander. Leland overworked him when he was younger, and unless he can adjust his pitching style, he's on the decline.

You are paying him a ton of money for a LONG time. Hope it doesn't come back to bit you.

Not a fan, but this place is flooded with Tigers players. Their Spring training stadium is right by my house and I can see the stadium lights from my pool deck. It's VERY common to see the players around town as they basically live here ... heck, I think they've trained here longer than any other MLB team has trained in any one location (since 1934). Their farm team is here during the regular season.
