Spent a week at the farm. Got back last night. Spent a lot of days cleaning out garage. Made a lot of headway. It's a 3 car garage, but the old '84 truck takes up 1/3 of it. Still, got a lot of junk out of there and made a lot of floor space.

Wife spent days in the old 'attached' mobile home/trailer. Her brother lived back there. She got a lot of junk out of there, and found a lot of family 'treasures'. It has no heat or elec, so easier to get into than in summer when it's full of wasps.

Stove/dishwasher/oven still don't work. Can't see spending money to get 'em fixed. Stove/oven is a 220 wiring issue.....wires are dry rotted. Estimate is $1000 to fix........ No way, just gonna use elec skillet or something. Maybe the "NuWave" cooktop. Have a toaster oven and elec skillet, and a fish cooker in garage. That'll have to do.

Kitchen sink clogged up, spent an hour or two dismantling all pipes and cleaning them out, and putting back together. Got that working.

Worked in woods doing a little bit of chain saw work..........and putting up game cameras, and finding places to put up the ladder stands I have. One tower stand already there (pics later). Deer showed up in pics in just two days, not much to brag on, just deer.

On way out the door yesterday, tried to turn water off at the meter at the street. Broke the dang valve on the meter! Called 'em this morning. They said they'd replace it, but who knows when. Dealing with things miles in the middle of nowhere is not that easy.

Took load of stuff to dump here at home today...........got that pile out of the way.

Farm lessor (wife's cousin's boy) said he'd help in woods, but the week we picked to go down there was dry and warm, and he had to be on tractor in field. If/when it gets too wet for him to work, we'll head back down and get his help putting up some stands, running chain saws, etc.

Here's a pic of old farm house. Needs a ton of work..........but it's dry, and has water and elec.....

Yes. Didn't work. Sink pipes are all hand threaded PVC...........not much trouble to take apart and clean out and reassemble.
