I'm in an all electric house......in an all electric world..........

Sleet and freezing rain is about 2" thick already, just since 4:00 pm. It's hitting the windows with force, and really coming down. Life is at a standstill here, and getting worse by the minute.

There's little chance that we can keep electricity with all the aerial power cables we have........and I have. These trees and limbs are going to be going by tomorrow. If somehow they hold, maybe tomorrow the sun will hit and maybe melt some of this, although it's going to be 12 degrees tomorrow night. So who knows.

If you never hear from me again, donate to the Happy Hills Funny Farm...........they need your support.

Crank up the generator in the camper and turn the heat on ... that may be the best place to spend the night. Hope all is well ... if you live through it, come on down here and we'll go watch the beach bunnies play volleyball. :D

My whole house is powered on a generator. The longest we are out of power is 11 seconds. And five of that is the startup and warmup of the generator.auto transfer switches are the bomb...

Strange weather indeed. We have had no snow this year at all. Zero, nada, zip. Very low snow pack in the mountains as well which could be a problem later in the summer as most of out creeks and rivers need that snow pack to stay flowing through the dry months. Gonna be hard on the fishies.

Weird!! Canada is dry and warm. Arkansas is frozen. South USA has more cold and wet than ever for this time of year. NE USA is in an Ice Age.

Somebody ticked somebody off, somewhere.
