Daughter has an HP-PAVILION "slimline" s3620f computer. It seems the video chip has "gone south" and its got no video output no mo.

So, dear ol' Dad gets to figger out what to do to get it going again. IF I had the tools and stuff, I'd try replace the video chip onboard the motherboard....but that ain't happening.

I need to source a 1/2 height low power video card to slid into the one free open slot on the unit.

I'm leaning towards this card. It's pretty cheap (inexpensive)...and looks like it would get the job done.

Any of you computer geeks see a reason I shouldn't order this card????????

Looks like a decent fit. I have two ASUS laptops and they run like champs. But they use GEForce video cards, not ASUS video cards :)

Make sure she's running a 64bit OS and that type of PCI card has an open slot in her chassis and you should be fine.
