It's even down here in the deep south, too....cold rain, this morning....haven't been able to turn over a dirt clod, since last October....we are nearly three weeks behind, getting planted....corn should be knee-high, right now. :(

Can't seem to break out of the 30's up here, high this week won't reach 35, high Sunday 24.
Usually when it's like this the good weather comes overnight and stays, sure hope it happens soon.

dby was my birthday. 42 but the danged wind was blowing out of the east about 20+.. felt like it was coming off an iceberg. But, I go fishing on my birthday. It's what I do. ;) I fly fished from 11:00 to 3:00 (I play well by myself ;) ). Caught a dozen bass, and a nice mess of panfish including a 14" crappie and a 10" bluegill. Met two of my best buds and their lovely wives for supper and my wife bought me a steak. Birthday couldn't have gone much better had I scripted it. We're supposed to cool back off here a little so the fish will probably move back out a bit.

Not sure how you tell your birthday apart from everyotherdamnday. Glad you had a good one though.

For the last five years or so I've started growing a full beard over Thanksgiving and cut it back to a billy goat beard (goatee) on the first day of spring. This year I started on Nov 1st so I think I'll cut it on April Fools Day. Or maybe tomorrow.
