Kicking myself in the butt right now.
Had this bird fired up at first light. He came in at 60 yards and WOULD NOT break out of strut. He ended up walking behind the big oak tree on the left side of the picture and walking off. I should have shot him in full strut but at that distance I really would like to have that neck stretched out....

The one I shot yesterday afternoon was so close I was afraid I would miss him. Literally 7 yards. It all but cut his head off. But at least I know there will not be any shot in the breast meet! :-)
