Percy Sledge died. From the day I first heard "When A Man Loves A Woman" (in Jr. H/S after a recent break-up with a girlfriend) it became my favorite song of all time ... and still is to this day. If you were to ask Lynn (or anyone else who REALLY knows me) what my favorite song is ... that's what she'd tell you. I guess I'll have to hit YouTube and listen to it a few bazillion times this week. What a loss. :(

(And no ... I've never met him.) ;)

Ha ha! I'm sure YOU were referred to as a romantic dufe with the ladies!

My go-to window fogger was "Best of the Bee Gees". I know, I know ... but trust me, slap that thing in the ol' Learjet Stereo 8-Track Player while viewing the submarine races and it was a guarandamnteed panty-peeler! :D

While you were across the pond pounding your pud in some rice field surrounded by a bunch of stiff leg army dudes, I was back here with a Shelby, an 8 ball of Columbian Bamb-Bamb, and a Bag of Waxhaw Window box knocking boots with all the gals that were burning their bras and carrying "make love not war signs" with right on painted across their hooters.... dde0e
