Adams is hitting .100 points less.............why not pick on him? Why always Wong? Is it maybe cause the bench guy is from Owasso? I love Kozma.......and he needs to play. But Wong will end up being a better player long term.

This is the beauty of baseball. Unlike football, one or two games do not define a season. Not for a team, and not for a player. This is a grind.

And no manager in baseball takes a starter and sends him down to the minors after 8 games into the season, for flying out one time. You go down if you can't make contact, can't get your swing right, can't find the strike zone, and need work on something. But if you hit the ball.....sometimes you hit 'em where they is, and sometimes you hit 'em where they ain't.

My only issue with Wong is he presses and makes both bad plays offensively and defensively. And Matt Adams is sharing first base time with another player where Wong isn't. which is yet another issue of the Cards trying to fix shit that ain't broke, IMO.

Wong needs to go down for a few weeks and get his act together. I agree its a grind, but they ain't gonna carry a guy for long on a team like this.

You may be right............but I think he's the 2nd baseman..........now, and for years. I've been wrong before.

And Adams is not sharing first base with anyone. Reynolds plays on occasion. So will Kozma. But Adam is the 1st baseman, and Wong is the 2nd baseman.
