It's late April, we are suppose to have flowers, birds chirping, naps in the hammock.
This chit is getting old even for a life long Northerner .:(

Coldest dang spring I ever saw......ever! Still going to be lows in the low 40's for foreseeable future. Nothing is as warm as it usually is, unless you live in the extreme west, and they're burning up. So wet here farmers can't plant yet..........almost unheard of for late April.

Weather Chaos.

Looks like a nice Wyoming spring "rain". Over the weekend we had 16" made things kinda muddy around here when it started melting.

We had a bit of snow on Wednesday, but it didn't stick on the ground. Cold and windy the past few days, and only 27 degrees this morning, but it's supposed to get up to almost 60 by this afternoon, and for the next few days.

Been getting frog strangler rain, wild winds, HAIL and friggen thunder (we almost never get thunder storms here on the coast) the last couple days. We were camping down by the ocean and got winded out of there. Wild weather, fer sure.

They now have these purpose specific trucks that will actually come to your house, put all your shit in the truck, and drive you and your shit anywhere else in the country you want to live.

I know, I was amazed too!

Ok, I know you're all waiting for it. Clear blue skies and in the mid-80's. The annual airshow is in town, so I think I'll sit by the pool and watch the Thunderbirds make their formations and turns for the approach. ;)

I think we finally broke our drought's back. Still some areas out in the panhandle that are in drought conditions but I think most of our wheat crop might make it this year. Been three or four years for areas west of I-35. That's pretty normal for us though. Meanwhile, in Green Country its a great spring!

Yeah No-till, they're usually down here for the show, but they have the Thunderbirds this year for some reason.

While they're in town, they're buzzing over my house constantly. If you mean mileage wise .. maybe 15-16 miles.

Oh yeah, that's up in the pan handle (Pensacola area) and a good 7 hours from me. I'm pretty much in the middle of the state.
