Cool your jets Thumper, this is about my grandmother.

This past Friday we laid her to rest after a whopping 98+ years on this earth. She was a great lady who always had a smile on her face, loved to play cards, spend time with her family, and never let things get to her. An inspiration for sure.

The smile I will never forget:

Miss you Grandma and love you.

Good post. Thanks!

I sit in my 'office'.........but before I lived here, my grandmother did.......and she died in this very room. It soothes me that she did and I can be here often.

Love the picture and story, I'm blessed to still have a 97 year old grandmother.

There are no replacements for Grandmas. Sorry for your loss.

Great pic and sorry for your loss. My "Granny" lived to be in her 90's also. We never were sure of her exact age. My grandfather died when I was 6 mos. old (he was run over by a truck). My step-grandfather (the only grandfather I ever knew on my mom's side) was much younger when he married my grandmother and she supposedly lied about her age when they met. She was well into her 90's when she passed away, but none of the family ever knew her real (exact) age ... only what she'd told my grandfather! (we just added a few years and flew with it) I don't even know if she had a birth certificate ... she was born on the farm in Georgia.

I'm sure you'll have fond memories just as I have.
