Have you guys done a good deed today? Just curious. I'm looking for one to do.
I set up an automatic payment for the water bill at the farm. Got the bill and it appeared it was never done. I called them, and they said "Oh, if it say "ABD" by your name, it is done". And it did, so all is cool. But, I asked "why does my usage show 1,100 gallons for May, no one was there"? Of course they didn't know.
I texted our lessor.......who is wife's 1st cousin's boy. One of the best guys! He said "Oh, we (he and his hired farm help) washed down your house last month.........it had mold on the siding". Yes, it did........and I have a little electric pressure washer down there and was going to do it this week. But he just went and did it. Wasn't asked, didn't say a word, just did it.
This kid restores my faith in the world sometimes. He pays us enough that we can get by, yes.......not a fortune, but enough to live on. But he's a jewel, and a friend, and just does good deeds.
