So I saw your facebook stuff about the trout fishing trip. Those marabou jigs sure look like something smallies would kill. Have you ever tried them on smallies? How durable are they? Do you fish them along the bottom or pull 'em straight back? or are they more of a jig up and down kinda thing?

I'm asking for a friend :)

I hop them along back to the boat or shore and yes they work on smallies. Most guys use them for bass and don't realize how effective they are on trout. I love using for trout because hardly anyone else does. So yes, you should give them a whirl on bass. If you fish anywhere there are leeches it's tough to beat the black marabou jig.
