Great until you get wrapped up watching the screen and ass-end the truck because you didn't notice it was stopping.

Looks like a cool idea in a nice controlled invironment, but I think it would turn into an expensive toy in the real world. Having first-hand experience with trucks, I can tell you those trailer doors take a major beating and are constantly being busted up and replaced. Plus, that ends up being the dirtiest part of the trailer on the road, especially in the winter with salt, slush and mud ... it ALL ends up on the rear doors. (not sure how those electronics would hold up in salt) I can already hear the drivers bitching about having to wash the back of their trucks at every fuel stop!

It might be an impressive gadget on something like a NASCAR hauler where their vehicles are kept in "show car" condition at all times ... but for the general work horses on the road ... lots of money in the toilet IMHO.
